vegas and LA trip

Super bowls finally here. So, it's time for a trip to Vegas.

We got to see the whole family. Lexie had a blast with all her cousins. We stayed at Nono & Nona's house. They live next door to Uncle Glen and his HUGE family. Lexie and Summer stayed close, as usual. But also opened up and had fun with everybody! She also LOVES their dog named Red and Berkley. We made several trips down the street to see the horses. Went to casinos and had AWESOME food! Lexie really enjoyed the secret garden dolphin habitat at the Mirage. There were dolphins, lions, tigers, alpacas, and cheetahs. Hard to get used to the new time schedule. We were going to sleep at 8 and waking up at 6. HAHA. Perfect timing for the early birds to cook a delicious breakfast. Great trip. Glad to see the family again. We will have to go back and visit soon. (:



LA has been fun! the first day we got here we came out to the beach. Lexie didn't care so much to enjoy the waves or the ocean. She was too busy playing in the sand with her pale & shovel. We went to Venice Beach and played in the park. Lexie enjoyed the swing. She decided her baby wanted to swing too. So, I was in charge of pushing both of them. Of course when we decided it was time to go. Lexie was not ready and she cried.

Today we went to Disney Land. That was A LOT of fun. The most fun I'm sure Lexie has had all vacation. She road everything you can possibly think of. Except she wanted to ride the kiddy roller coaster, but wasn't quite tall enough. /: She cried a little bit but was pretty much over it by the time we got back to the stroller. She loved Minnie's house. Then when we hit Mickeys house she never wanted to leave! Before we left Lolly decided to take the girls to the gift shop to pick ANY toy they wanted. Lexie wanted everything we handed her that was Minnie mouse until the very end when we were about to check out. There was a 2011 Minnie Mouse. She loved it... Until she saw the 2011 Mickey Mouse. & decided she liked him better. She gave him a kiss. We told her she had to hand him to us so we could pay, she didn't want to let go. Since we have been home she has still not let him go. She's in bed now sleeping with him. (:

We got home & she was SO tired after her huge day. While getting ready for bed she said she wanted to watch barney 2 times. Sadly, we didnt bring barney. So, that couldnt happen. But she was out after the first 5 minutes of laying her down. I don't think she missed it too much!

Lately we noticed Lexies left eye pulling to the left. Pretty worried about it, Jennifer made an appointment to see an eye dr. When we got there they dilated her eyes and we waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes for her to go back again. Made her look in many different things so the dr could figure out what was wrong with them. He said she is far sided and it pulls her left eye to the left when she strains to see something. She cant see far away very good or things that are really close up. He gave her some prescription glasses that will hopefully keep her eyes straight. and hopefully help her vision from getting worst. Her eye has definately been a lot straighter since. I was very sad to hear the news. But, thank god everyday that i have a healthy 2 year old.

After the appointment, we dropped her prescription off at the eye doctor. Lexie got to pick her glasses. She was excited. She picked the pink ones. I'm surprised of how easy it has been to keep them on her. Ofcourse she has her times she covers her face when we try to put the glasses back on. And ofcourse their are also times she loses them and claims she doesnt know where they are. But, we usually find them pretty quickly.

A couple days after she had been used to wearing them I gave her a bath and took her glasses off. She was rubbing her eyes. I asked her what was wrong. and she wimpered a little bit and said her eyes hurt /: I'm assuming she's just starting to realize that she needs her glasses to see good. It breaks my heart she sees a blur at 2 years old. But, I'm very greatful they could diagnose the problem at such an early age & give her what she needs to see clearly.

Christmas also passed. Lexie had a blast doing all the fun events. She loves to stay busy and always has something new to do. Between me, and her grandparents she stays pretty busy. lChristmas morning we went to Lolly & Pops house. Got LOTS of toys, babies, and barbies. Summer got a puppy. Lexie was very jealous. She kept holding her and saying "my puppy." We would tell her no. its summers puppy. She would continue to laugh and say its her puppy.

Later in the day, she went to her daddies for chrismas. & guess what he had for her? yah. a puppy. Now the apartment manager isn't too happy. Hoping we can keep him. Because she sure does enjoy playing with him.

FINALLY 2!

for her birthday her Daddy decided to take her to Lake Winnie. She went with her dad, aunt Bridget, and one of their friends. I'm sure they had a BLAST. sad that I missed out. Her favorite ride was the frog hopper. She wanted to ride over and over and over again.

For her actual birthday I took her to Toys R Us & let her pick out anything she wanted. She picked out a baby that walks. & then as we were leaving she fell in love with a grocery cart. She wouldn't put it down. So, we got suckered into that too! haha. $90 dols later- were out the door. Never again will I be shopping at toys r us. haha. I swear the same things are at walmart only half the price.

A couple days later, we took her to Chuckee Cheese for her birthday party. All of her best friends came. Everyone invited showed up. She got lots of new toys that she loves to play with. pizza, wings, more then enough tokens. Couldn't have asked for her birthday to go better. Besides the flat tire Grandma M got in the parking lot. haha.

She is now in LOVE with barney. Always wanting to watch it. She gets pretty disappointed when we put the TV on and something else is on. She didn't want to watch Sesame street today. So, I had to put her Barney movie on in her bedroom for her. She only watches about half of it & moves on to something else.

Halloweens so soon. We already had her a fairy outfit. But, she doesn't like it. She cries and says its itchy and she wants it off. So, I figured I would take her to get another one. We went to 4 different stores yesterday and couldn't find anything. Then, we went to spirit. I wanted her to be a bumblebee. But, every time I asked her she says NOOOOO! haha. So, I asked her what she wanted to be. She chose Minnie Mouse. But, they only had up to 18 months /: We tried on both the outfits. And all of a sudden she didn't want to wear Minnie Mouse either. So, I figured I would just get the bumblebee. Hopefully she starts to like it soon. If not, atleast its 2-4 years. and she can always wear it next year! :] Hope she likes it. Because she sure did look cute in it!

daytona trip

Its been forever for another post~~

Today we went to the bowling alley w- LOLLY & POPS & aunt Laurie & uncle Jeff & Josh.
We had a lot of fun. Lexie rolled her FIRST strike! Josh thought that this date & time should be remembered.. haha.

We also have a puppy that I'm trying to get rid of! Lexie LOVES her. Shes always trying to play with her.. She especially loves the times that the puppy is trying to sleep. haha. She loves to grab him and try to pull.. haha. She means no harm.

I also have not mentioned we went to Daytona Beach, FL together for a family vacation. During this time she spent TONS of time with Summer at the kiddie pool. We stayed at a really nice condo by the beach. : ) Lexie made it very clear to us that she LOVED her "FLOAT" & the "SWIMMING" in the "POOL."

Today we got to see Jaycee. Lexie was VERY excited about that!

weekend vacation.

Saturday night my dad called and asked if I wanted to eat at Olive Garden. I was actually with a friend across the street returning some things at Rue 21. We had eaten already. But didnt have much else to do. So we agreed we should go. We asked the bartender for a coke, got a seat, and waited for a seat. Ofcourse when we got there, Jennifer was eager to see Lexie. Too bad Lexie was sleeping when I left and I didnt have her with me. Uncle Josh has been a pretty good live in baby sitter. Very convenient when shes sleeping and I have things to do. After we ate, Lolly and Pops wanted to see Lexie. She was gladly awake by that time. :)

Jennifer asked to watch her. Ofcourse I won't give up an opportunity like that! I've been dying for a break. and a little free time. And extra time to clean. My dishes had been stacking and my laundry hadnt been done in a wk. Thank God for wonderful grandparents!

I havent heard from them much. I know shes in good hands. Ofcourse shes on top of her blogger, so I know their having a wonderful time! I'm sure she'll be back soon. We will have to do something fun together :)

its been a fun morning. I get a phone call which wakes me up from the old guy upstairs. talk to him for about 15 mins. Which reassures Lexie that Im awake. So, as I make an excuse to get off the phone, and finally get to lay back down. Lexie is ofcourse standing in her crib screaming MAMA AHHHHHHHH MAMA AHHHHHH... hah.
soo. I get up let her out to play. Give her a bananna. Then, decide Im going to get in the shower. She follows me to the bathroom and wont leave the shower curtain. Shes pointing at the bath tub because she wants to get in and play. Therefore, Im not showering. and she is! She knows what she wants. Shes in there playing with her new bath toys that her Grandma M got for her.

Today were going to the mall. I predict it will be a fun day :) Maybe, if shes good she will get to play in the malls park. Last mall trip she was sleepy and enjoyed her temper tantrums of throwing herself on the floor and crying... UGHH! lets make sure she gets her nap in!

snow day !

HaVE i MENTIONED? Lexie LOVES to dance. Yesterday, we went to the mall. My mom and I were looking for an outfit for the kids to wear for valentines day. So, Josh took the kids to the play place to play with Lexie and Ryan. He stopped by F.Y.E. and was listening to music on the headphones. Josh gave the headphones to Ryan. He said "that hurts my ears" So josh gave the headphones to Lexie and she gets a HUGE smile on her face and starts dancing. haha.

We tried to have a fun snow day yesterday. We got lots of snow.. about 3 inches? I will post pics later. She wasnt too thrilled. We brought her power wheels outside in the snow thinking that she would ride it. It didn't ride too good threw the snow. Lexie was cold and wanted to take a nap. So, she cried. But she got the jist of it.

She still has a runny nose. I'm still wiping it all the time.

16 months

Lexie went to her Dr's appointment at 2 yesterday. They told me that she has an ear infection in both her ears. I had to reschedule her last appointment because she was sick. Fever, runny nose, coughing, ETC. They said its very common for babies to get ear infections after getting over a sickness. I haven't felt like she has been acting fussy. Maybe a lil bit. But , not enough for her to have an ear infection. I'm guessing shes just a tough little girl. They gave me some amoxisillin to give to her for the next week. I hope she starts feeling better. They also gave her two shots. They said these are the most painful shots that she will get. She got a chicken pox vaccine. I wasn't sure that I really wanted to give it to her. But, the dr didn't tell me what it was until she was already injecting it. I would hate for her to get them at a older age though. I always was scared that would happen to me. Because I also had the same shot. They told me to give her Tylenol to help her the rest of the day.. She took it like a champ. 5 mins after the shot she was good. Never even needed any Tylenol.

Yesterday Lexie went to her Grandmas house. She has a toy there that Lexie was putting the ball threw the hole, and then the ball would fall down the stairs. She LOVED IT. It was kind of like a puzzle. Today I made her a sippie cup of apple juice. She found a regular cup and discovered her sippie cup can fit into the cup. So she drank it that way. Shes so funny.

She has also learned to say NO when she doesnt want something or doesnt want to do something. She will say OOOO OOOO and shake her head NO. haha. SO CUTE. I dont laugh at her though.. I dont want her to think its funny to tell me NO.

Lexies sleeping now. She has been waking up earlier then normal since shes had an ear infection. It sucks, I miss sleeping in... A LOT.

On new years day, Lexie got to open one present right before bed. She chose to open her laptop. and save her bigger presents for tmrw :) Lexies Daddy had the bright idea of waking up at 5 in the morning and opening presents on Christmas. Lexie, nor I, was very thrilled to be awake at 5 in the morning. I heard Lexie crying a little bit. Buit, she went back to sleep and I rolled over for sleep. I guess you could say we were not too excited. So we slept til 9 and finally woke Lexie up. Really though Lexie probably should have just slept til she was ready to wake up. Because she wasn't in the best of moods. She wasn't crying. Just wasn't as fun as I anticipated. She wasn't doing much opening of the presents. She needed a lot of help. She was a whole lot more interested when it was all unwrapped and she could play with it. After finally playing with a toy she was pretty atatched and didnt want to put it down so she could open more. After opening all of our presents I put her down for a nap. and Johnny attempted to put her four wheeler together so when she woke up we could have it charged and ready for her to ride! He put the steering wheel threw where it was supposed to go. Then, it broke.. I now realize how I got her a power wheels for fifty dollars. Didnt even last a day. I was pretty sad. and very much dreading the thought of having to return things after Christmas. After she woke up we went to my moms for christmas. She got a baby and stroller which she loves. Ron put the stroller together because there was SO many peaces. and I couldnt figure it out. Then, Lexie went to her Daddys for Christmas dinner and presents. Finally, by the time that I got her back she was SUPER ready for a nap again. She didn't realize that there was still more excitement and one more place there was to go for her to open more presents. :) So, after waiting a couple hours of her nap time I couldnt wait anymore. I woke her up and we went to my dad and Jenns for christmas at there house. WHAT A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS. It always is awesome every year. I finally got my laptop I've needed for so long. and a thing to store all my pics on just incase something does ever happen to this laptop. So, i can finally post pics again. and posts whenever my internet decides to work for me. Lexie got tons of stuff. Clothes, toys, books that talk, etc. She also got a drum set I think she will have a lot of fun playing with. pretty neat idea. and what I love the most about it is there is actually a place to put all the peaces.. So I dont find them all around the house.

New Years 2010 we had a blast!! Lexie actually got to stay up until around 12:05. She got so see the ball drop. Not that she understood what that meant. That was staying up LATE for her. She slept until 1:30 the next day. I was very happy she let me sleep in :)

Finally got a couple pictures posted. Wish I could do it more often.

Yesterday we were walking around outside and she fell flat on her face. CRIED AND CRIED AND CRIED. I picked her up, held her tight, rocking her back and forth. I look at her lip and its GUSHING BLOOD. So sad. It was the first time she ever Bled. I felt so bad for her. The blood just kept coming. I flipped her upside down because that was the only way she was going to let me see her mouth. She was bleeding out of her 2nd top tooth she just got. I washed it off and shortly later she went to sleep. Good thing. She needed the nap. Today when I tried getting her to brush her teeth she was VERY hesitant. She eventually did. But, I didn't want to force it because I don't want her to hate her tooth brush.

well the night before last was the first night that Lexie has slept in the bed with me. She started crying in her crib at about 1 o clock.. I did everything I could to get her to stop crying. But, she still was. She did get one of her top teeth. So she was teething. That may have been why she felt like she needed me. She wouldn't stop crying until I brought her and her blanket to my bed. I laid her down and she quietly went right to sleep. I was super surprised because I have not been able to get her to sleep anywhere besides her crib or a play pin since she was like 3 months old!! So, I enjoyed it.
I stayed at my moms house with her last night. She woke up at 7 in the morning in her play pin and when I went in there I was still feeling really tired. Very much looking forward to just getting back in the cold blankets and going back to sleep. So, I thought maybe if I brought her to my bed she would go back to sleep. When I put her in the bed she cried like she wasn't sleepy and wanted to get out of the bed. So i put her on the ground and she sat there staring at a snow globe. I shut my eyes figuring she would go to sleep soon. When I opened my eyes she was curled up with her blanket on the floor. I figured if I put her in her play pin she would wake up and cry. So, instead she laid in the bed. SHE WAS THE SWEETEST ANGEL ALL MORNING. We didn't go back to sleep. She was loving being tickled. LAUGHING SO HARD! We played the her saying MOMMY.. and i say LEXIE.. to each other OVER AND OVER AGAIN.. haha. Then she gave me about 30 kisses. Then, laid her head on my head for like 10 minutes. It was SO sweet. I definitely think that its the best bonding moment that we have ever had...
Right now she is enjoying a pear. Its the softest, sweetest pear Ive ever had. Her grandma cut it in four different pieces and she is enjoying it, trying to eat three at a time! HAHAHA.

2nd THANKSGIVING

She didn't know what to think. We were so busy. She didn't get to have one nap the WHOLE DAY.
We went with my Dad and Jennifer and Summer to Trenton for fried chicken, mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Lexie got to eat before all the food was ready. So by the time the chicken came she was full off mac and cheese and potatoes. She loved all the food though. Lexie was playing with much older kids playing tag. She enjoyed being carried around from place to place. Leah loves to play with her. and Lexie loves the attention. So it worked out perfectly.
Her Lolly and Pops dropped us off at our car just in enough time to rush to pick up Johnny and go to my moms for her thanksgiving Lunch at 3. She was ready for a nap. But I wasn't sure that I wanted her to sleep for the TG dinner at my moms. ESP because I had forgot the camera for the TG at Jenn's moms. So, I get there, put her in her high chair. and feed her some turkey, stuffing, ETC. She ate it. By the time her plate was done and after I got some pictures. I decided I would squeeze a nap in. Before she fell asleep- It was 4 o clock. and I decided to let her go with her Daddy to his parents thanksgiving. He said she didn't sleep there, she ate a little more. and the day was over- at about 8 o clock we got back home. and she PASSED OUT.
Now, Yesterday she slept all night and then that morning I thought she would wake up.. I finally checked on her around 1 and she saw me check on her so she woke up. Only for about five minutes and then she wanted to go back to sleep. She slept til 4 when I woke her up thinking she should be hungry and we went to Lupis with my Mom, Ron, and Ryan. We got there, she hardly ate and FUSSED the WHOLE time. So, after dinner and playing some arcade games we went back to the house and she went RIGHT TO SLEEP and slept the rest of the night. I woke her up this morning before work to change her diaper. I took her to the couch and sat her down. she laid her head down for about 10 minutes. So, I figured its nap time again.
I'm not sure why shes sleeping so much? She had a little bit of a fever yesterday and was really fussy. So, I'm thinking maybe shes getting more teeth and would rather just sleep threw the pain of it. But, I'm really not sure. I cant wait to get back home after work to see how shes feeling. and maybe a surprise tooth?!

14 months old

She is completely off of formula. I haven't given her any since last time I wrote about it. Two nights ago though She woke up at about three in the morning and she was CRYING and wouldn't stop. When I went in there I brought her some juice. I usually try not to do that. But i didn't understand why she was crying, or what I was going to have to do to get her to go back to sleep. After drinking her grape juice she was still crying. So, I let her get out of her crib for a little while because she couldn't seem to fall back asleep. It was a little bit cold so I put her pajamas on her and changed her diaper. I also gave her some baby Tylenol and a teething tablet. thinking maybe its her teeth. She still has only her two bottom teeth. So, I'm assuming that that probably wasn't what was wrong... Who Knows? Maybe she was just cold.
Yesterday when I was giving her a bath she loved the bubbles. She kept putting her face down in the water and getting a bubble mustache and she would Laugh so hard. I was also laughing at her in the beginning. Until I realized after her coughing up the water about the 30th time that she did it - She was also DRINKING the water. She had lots of bubbles in her mouth. It was HILARIOUS. I took some pics and some videos... Just don't have a computer to upload them to.
Last night we stayed the night at my moms house after having a meatloaf and mashed potatoes dinner. Lexie absolutely LOVED the mashed potatoes. I had to get back up 2 times for seconds. and thirds. Also, Lexie's great grandparents came over and ate too. Great Grandma paid her lots of attention. Lexie liked that a lot. ESPECIALLY GOOD Because she doesn't get to see her great grandparents often. Also, Rylee came over to play with her and Ryan.. Lexie always enjoys having friends to play with. And i like it too Because its less work for me to keep her entertained. We had fun. She fell asleep pretty early and slept until at least 10. I was surprised.

Well, Shes been walking around EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME. Every time she falls down she puts her little hands on the ground and gets back up.
I have been trying to teach her boundaries of where shes is allowed to go. She definitely understands no and stop... But she still likes to test me. After I say no she will stop .. and go back five minutes later and try to do the same thing. She will look back at me to see if I'm paying attention and tell her no.
She has also noticed a little cup that's connected on her high chair that she thinks its funny when she throws food in there. Its the stupidest little invention that a High Chair could have. It basically just teaches them to play with their food. She likes to stick food in it. I try not to make a BIG deal about it to her Because I don't want her to think its something that gets her attention. She will look at me before she does it and I usually try to catch her before and say NO.
Today one of her friends Selena came over. Lexie just doesn't know their supposed to be friends yet. She can definitely tell the age difference between each other. Selena is 10 months old. and Lexie is 13 months. Selena was trying to play with her, she was putting her arm out and touching Lexie with it. And Lexie was getting mad and like pushing her away. They just acted like they didn't like each other. They were both sitting in the floor in my living room crying looking at each other! haha. I DON'T KNOW WHY. I think she needed a nap. But, Selena is like the only baby Lexie knows that is noticeably younger then she is. I guess from all the months of Rylee picking on her- taking her toys... etc. She wanted to have someone to take her place. We will see how that goes in the future though.

Yesterday, I tried giving her a bottle of 100% whole milk. for the first time since I was doing the half formula half milk- She drank it all. So, today I tried it again. So, I am thinking she will be okay without any formula. I will give it a few more days to get totally used to it before I give the rest of her formula away.
I have also noticed, she isn't acting like she really likes her apple juice anymore. when I give it to her she doesn't drink a lot of it. She usually just pushes it away unless shes really thirsty. But the minute she sees a Capri Sun she starts her PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE until she gets to drink some. and when their is a Capri sun around their is NO WAY shes going to drink any apple juice for me. So, last time I went to the grocery store I bought some Grape Juice to see how she would like it. She likes it.. I'm pretty sure that its more expensive though :[

2nd halloween

Halloween morning Lexie had no idea that it was any special occasion. All she cared about doing is sleeping. Every time she cried for me to come get her- 15 mins later she would want to go take a nap- She would sleep about 1/4 the amount she usually does- and then wake up sleepy. So, Basically all she did was take naps until about 6 o'clock. Their was a Trick Or Treat thing at the church down the street that I planned on going to. I was just happy she didn't give me time to put her Halloween costume on before letting me know she wasn't going to the church and she'd rather just stay home and sleep.. So I stayed home impatiently waiting for her to wake up. Once she finally woke up I took her straight to her Uncle Josh's to see all the Halloween decorations that he had put up at the house. and he wanted her to come Trick R Treat at his house.
So, we did. While we were already there we went around the block to a couple neighbors with Kim and Landon. Lexie got the sour fruit punch straws. Lexie and Landon really enjoyed eating that on the way from house to house. After going there I told my mom and Ryan that we would go with them to my Aunts old Neighborhood. We went to the BIG SCARY guy that they do every year. Lexie was VERY SURPRISINGLY the only kid not scared that went in for candy. Ryan wouldn't even go inside near the man along with the 10 kids behind him.
After that we went to the Enclave houses where She Trick R Treated more with Rylee and Landon. I recommend going there : ) Bus, make sure you remember to bring a stroller. Unlike me, Landon fell asleep and didn't leave much room for Lexie so I was stuck carrying her. She had fun. When the people let her pick what she wanted from the bowls she would stand their contemplating on what she was going to get for 15 mins. Sometimes Rylee would have to choose for her. Full day of fun stuff- Sure enough, when we got home at about ten She PASSED OUT. Slept like a baby. So she could wake up and be the wonderful baby that she is.
I hate that the day was over- I guess thats how it feels to buy something that is only good one time.

Well. someone stole my laptop. So I guess no more pictures for awhile :( that's the worst thing about any of it- all her pictures-- are gone. So depressing. All my videos of her- GONE :'(
At least I have one picture a month from the portrait studios. I knew their was a reason that I did that. I'm so sad. Some people are just so pathetic these days. I guess they can have fun with their broken laptop and pictures of my daughter. Next, They might fall in love with her and want to come back for her. I would definitely have to kill someone. Good thing is I might have gotten his name from all of this? Hopefully the cops want to do something about it.

Other then that, she luckily stayed with Jennifer last night and missed everything. She came back today and went STRAIGHT TO SLEEP. I'm sure she was tired from all the fun she had. I get her back and she fully knows how to go down steps standing up. Before she was LIL MISS CLIMBER- But was stuck going down. HA. But shes got it down.

I wish I had some pictures to update. I will have to do something about this.. and soon. :(

We carved pumpkins. I had woken her up to do it- and she didnt get really into it. I really should have just let her sleep. She was sleeping so good too. I got some pics. But no smiles still. So, I am sure that I will have to do some more of her and the pumpkin when she's in a little of a better mood.

LEXIES LOVELY DRS VISIT

Well, she had her 1 yr Dr visit. When we got there we waited in the waiting room for a hour. Lexie kept wanting to crawl all over the nasty floor. I kept telling her no and brought her on the carpeted area with a toy. She was enjoying walking back and fourth from me to her toy.
We finally get called back to a room and we sit there another hour without the Dr coming back. By this point.. LEXIE IS FLIPPING OUT. She totally didn't like the idea of being in a room for a hour. She didn't understand what was taking the Dr so long.. She is SCREAMING on the top of her lungs for a straight hour. The nurses kept coming to our room and closing the door. They came in several times saying we were next. We weren't next...
She was making herself sick. Couldn't be healthy. I was holding her in the sink just in case.
Lexie, SCREAMING and ROLLING around was sleepy and just wanted to go home and get in her crib. I have never seen her flip out so bad in her ENTIRE life. She was on the patient table and was rolling around throwing a temper tantrum and she banged her head on the wall. She then starts crying more- And, now has a BIG bruise on her cheek. :(
The Dr finally comes in- I cant even here anything the Dr is telling me. Then, the nurse comes and gives Lexie her shots... she was so upset already that I don't think the shots could have made her any more mad then she already was.
After it was all over I was rescheduling my appointment and they had a jar of Lolly pops. Lexie usually LOVES lolly pops so I thought maybe I could cheer her up and give her one. She didn't even want one. She was very upset. Fell RIGHT asleep on the car ride home. .

Lexie stayed with Josh for a couple hours while I bought a pumpkin for her to help us carve? We are supposed to carve pumpkins with Amber and Rylee tonight when I get off work. So, if all goes as planned, Lexie will be learning what the inside of a pumpkin feels like.. HA. I'm sure she will try to eat the seeds.

Today when I was leaving for work I gave Lexie a kiss on the forehead and said I love you and Bye Bye. She didn't like the idea. I had to rush out the door hearing her cry MAMA :( I miss her already. I hope she has LOTS of fun with her Daddy today.

WALKING ? AHH!

Yesterday all day she chose to try to walk EVERYWHERE she went. Shes NOT afraid to try. And shes so excited after she makes it without falling :) She usually takes 2-4 steps at a time and then falls. Growing up so fast. Although, I am pretty ready for it. VERY ready to not have to scrub her knees all the time. Not so ready to have to chase her.. AHH... This will happen very soon I'm sure.. She has became a lot more confident in being a BIG GIRL I think.

I'm not sure if I have written it in her blog but her Best friend Rylee- every time she sees her she gets really excited and says BOBBY! hahaha. I think its just close. and She cant say Rylee yet. were working on it though :)

Today we are at my dads. Lexie is going with her LOLLY and AUNTIE SUMMER to the fair. I am sure they will have a lot of fun... WISH I COULD BE THERE TOO : )

No more words really yet. More Jibber Jabber. Sometimes she sounds like shes talking in Chinese. ha. We have been working on saying Ducky. Because she plays with her rubber ducky in the bathtub and one of her toys she got for her birthday has a ducky on there that quacks. She enjoys playing with that also. In the bathtub she couldn't say DUCKY. Then, I squeezed out the ducks water and said Ducky's going PEE PEE and she said PEE PEE and laughed. She thought that was VERY FUNNY.

taking steps.

She is standing at long periods of the time ALL THE TIME NOW. She will just let go of something and stand there for like 30 seconds at a time by herself. Then give up and fall down. She has also started attempting to take steps. When she is like standing up on something - and wants to come to me she will step about 2 steps at a time to get wherever she may want to come. So, I am excited.

Yesterday I had amber and Jake over and we were trying to watch a movie. The kids had a late night- Rolling all over the couch sleepily trying to get comfortable. They never did fall asleep. I thought it would have been a cute picture... I bought her a new pink fluffy pillow for her room and I laid her and Rylee down with Lexie's Blanket that she LOVES so much. Their so sweet.

I also bought Lexie a CD with FUN songs and rhymes on it. ALL KINDS OF GOOD BABY MUSIC. Shes in the living room right now dancing to I LIKE TO EAT EAT EAT APPLES AND BANANAS.

She also has been learning how to do flips herself. She will put her head down and try to flip over- She hasn't gotten the flip over process down by herself yet though. She also has been attempting to stand by herself. She looks so funny. She will be standing completely up with her hands touching the floor. haha. SHES HILARIOUS.

Also something that she has started to do is When I see her getting into something that she probably shouldn't be and I say NO or take it away from her.. She will Get the sweetest LIL voice and say MOMMY? haha. So sweet. I don't give in although she makes it VERY tempting.

she has 2 bottom teeth :)
One is all the way grown in and the 2ND one is about half way broke out. The second tooth she wasn't fussy with- I haven't had any problems with that lately :)
Yesterday Johnny went to the hospital so Jennifer took her to church with her. She said that she put her in the nursery with her new Wintertime Outfit on her. and the church was too hot for it. So, when she picked her up from the nursery she was crawling around in a diaper. haha.

Today at the dentist she learned how to drink out of a straw. I gave her some of my Capri sun and she liked it enough to learn how to suck threw it.. I think it helped when I was holding the straw to give her some- Somehow it taught her to close her mouth and suck in..

When we got back home Rylee came down to play. Lexie was playing with her new sea horse she was given by her aunt laurie. She loved it! She was holding it like a baby rocking it back and fourth with her BIG smile on!

Words that she can say---

MOMMY, MAMA, - usually says when she wants me or wants something-- (i think its because it's got a M like MORE.. Or MMMM..)
DADA,
PUPPY- Yesterday we were watching TV and she saw a puppy and said PUPPY! She usually over uses the word. But she does know what it means.
BABY- She likes to say this word- Sometimes she says the word BOBBY instead. So, we are working on that. Today at the dentist she was playing with a potato head and she was calling it BOBBY.- HA.. boy version of baby I GUESS.
UH OH- She has learned to say this when she drops her stuffed animals in stores to let me know we have got to stop. GOOD THING TOO!
BYE BYE - I have been trying to teach her to put 2 words together Like BYE BYE PUPPY- hasn't been quite successful yet though.
THANK YOU - She likes to play games with me by handing me items and me handing it back to her. and her saying THANKYOU. Kind of sounds more like (DU TU) But she knows what she means :)
PAPA- She Definitely says the word But I'm not quite sure that she knows what it means.


She also has been enjoying saying different sounds lately. She says the word MEEMEE all the time. ha. I guess because its like MOMMY but its kind of like a different word.
