say bye bye to cookie,

Lexie acts like shes understanding more words lately. She has learned how to clap.. She gets so excited when I clap my hands and say CLAP CLAP CLAP- and shell laugh and laugh and try to say CLAP ... shes adorable : )
She loves to take baths. She thinks its funny when i lay her down in the bathtub- and after i put the shampoo on her head- ill try to rinse it out with mmy hands - She'll laugh at me... and everytime I put my hand up to wash it off she Pushes my hand down and laughs at me. . Shes so cute. :)
Fourth oF July was the other day.. WE DIDN'T EVEN GET TO see FIREWRKS. so im not sure if Lexie was going to be scared or enjoy them. We did light some sparklerss. and she loved it.
We just got rid of Lexies first puppy. She seemed to really like her when we bought her for her. The dog was just reallly annoying at night- she wouldnt let me sleep.
Now that the puppies gone (and deff missed) Lexie doesnt seem to act like she realizes shes gone.. she still goes to the place the dogs food used to sit... She loved to Hurry over there and put dog food in her mouth before i noticed. HA.

baby oil

yesterday We had a cookout at my moms house. Lexie went swimming. She enjoyed it. After going swimming she acted tired so i put her into my moms bed for a nap. About 30 mins later i went in there and she was sitting up playing with The blankets. Im not sure if she ever made it to a nap. So. I changed her diaper and I put her in the sun room while i went outside, (BC I didn't think outside was the best thing for her.. It was supposed to be like 100 something degrees yesterday.. So, when I made it back into the SUN ROOM ryan Had a WHOLE bottle of BABY OIL POURED ALL OVER HER . WOW... I couldn't imagine... after giving her a bath-- She is VERY SOFT.. and.. her hair still looked wet last night before putting her to bed. My mom got some pictures. I will have to post later when I get it.

9 months today :)

about 3 days ago I was running upstairs to ambers house. and lexie saw me going up there. so she decided to follow me. She went up about 6 steps! I didnt know that she could do that! Shes growing soo fast. Now, she needs to learn how to walk, its getting hard to carry her everywhere we go. Shes getting so heavy.
2 days ago i was in the walmrt parking lot driving to wal mart.. and they were giving away puppies so oi stopped and figured lexie would LOVE HER. so I decided to take her and sell her in a few days. .Now, we have fallen in love with her. Im not sure what im going to do about that.. This morning, i woke up and was watching lexie. I needed to take a shower before her daddy was awake so i put lexie in her room to play and i put the dog in the living room- that way they are seperated while im gone.. the dog doesnt do much moving yet - When i got out of the bathroom Lexie had crawled all the way into the living room and was playing with the dog! it was so adorable : ) I tell lexie to give the puppy kisses and she leans forward to kiss him.- But she doesnt know how to pucker her lips yet- very cute : -)

Today was fathers day, we started the day by going to my moms. We were having a Family cook out for fathers day. Lexie loves cheese burgers. She really just loves anything that I give her. She had fun with Jaycee (her cousin she NEVER gets to see) Ryan and Alyssa. We went swimming, took some pictures. And visited with the family, Later went to Johnnys fathers house to give him a card for fathers day. Afterwards we picked up her Aunty Sydney and Uncle Josh. and went to my dad and jennifers house. That was fun. Jennifer cooked a little Chicken dinner- and fed Lexie Baby food. We enjoyed the time with summer. Lexie decided to knock over a drink that was FULL all over the kitchen floor after i walked past the cup. Not very mch fun to pick it all up.

Lexies window experiment

The other day i was outside with my dad, Lexie, and Johnny looking at the car after somebody came and looked at the Taurus and didn't buy it because my car wouldn't shift into drive. I had to buy something for my break lights. My dad came over to help me fix it. While he was in the front seat trying to put the part in, my arms were getting tired so i put her in the backseat of the car and closed the door. she stood up in the seat And Kept ramming her head into the window and laughing.. it was so funny! She did it about 20 mins and laughing afterwards that I had to put my hand in front of her forehead so she would quit. It was hilarious- it was too bad that i didn't have a video camera attached to me .. HAhahha

talking more sounds

TODAY lexie has been talking a lot more then usual. She has been saying a lot more sounds and babbeling on and on about them. Today in her crib she was talking so loud in there happily to her stuffed animals... crawling everywhere, she has now managed to get into the kitchen.. Oh NO!

Today Lexie discovered that she could clap with her hands too! so She would imitate me as she clapped her hands happily. She also has been getting the hang of HIGH FIVE AND LoW FIVE :)

Today, during eating Sonic, When lexie wanted more she would say MAMA MAMA hahah. She laughed at johnny when he said what about DADDY ? i've been trying to teach her sounds when she wants more... she says MMMMM. hahahha

FLAMING HOTT CHEETOS : )

Lexie is getting more exciting everyday! the last few days she has REALLY been on the GO.. and moving to bigger and better things then what I put in front of her to play with. She CRAWLS to put things in her mouth, get into things shes not supposed to get into, and SPILLING DRINKS.. IT AMUSES HER. So, On to.. WATCHING HER ALL THE TIME :) never getting to go have trips in the other rooms, cleaning, without having somebody to watch her..
It's exciting to know what interests her . " )
Today we went to the condo and visited my dad, after a LONG HOT DAY AT THE JUNK YARD. Lexie played with her Auntie Summer's Elmo doll. It talks, sits down, stands up, and when it falls down it says,"Pick me back up!" She was just chewing on him and laughing at him. I think I might have been more amused then she was !
Today in the car on the way to Arbys her Uncle Josh gave her FLAMING HOT Cheetos.. And surprisingly, She LOVED THEM! ate them all up. and made a HUGE MESS All Over her fingers and her mouth .. I should have taken Pictures.

Very Mobile Now

A couple days ago, I put Lexie down for a nap and she slept for about 2 hours. And when I went into her room to put away clothes, she was standing up in her crib for the first time and smiling at me as if to say, "look at me, Mommy!" So now she is starting to crawl around on the floor too, heading straight to objects she wants to play with or eat. My mom (Lexie's grandma) was babysitting last night and Lexie crawled all the way across the room FAST in order to get a bite of the ice cream she was eating. She kept wanting to put her hands in the bowl of ice cream, so Grandma just kept feeding a few more bites to her. She's getting around good, sitting up good, and pulling herself to standmore and more. She is a lot of fun now....more than ever.
