finally.. a 1st TOOTH.

Yesterday I was talking with Jennifer telling her she still has no teeth. I was worried when she did get teeth how I was going to bribe her to put a tooth brush in her mouth. She said she gave Summer a lil rubber tooth brush that she would love for her gums to rub against it. She gave one to me. After getting home last night we decided to go to my moms to visit with Josh as my mom is out of town. After I got there- she was hungry. I snuck her a couple graham cracker cookies. As she was eating them- I thought.. to feel her gums for a tooth-
NOT THINKING THERE WAS ONE ACTUALLY GOING TO BE THERE----
sure enough ITS HARD.. I WAS LIKE OMGOOSH.. ?
no way? a tooth! She hadn't been fussy at all yesterday- OR TODAY.
Their is still NO DROOL.
I am absolutely STILL in shock that she has a tooth.
SUPER EXCITED- not sure why? bc the only privilege I get out of this is to make sure her teeth are brushed- Time to go get some fluoride free toothpaste. I HOPE SHE LIKES THE REAL TOOTH BRUSH AS MUCH AS SHE LOVES THE ONE JENNIFER GAVE TO ME FOR HER TO USE. Today I got it on a video on my camera of her brushing her teeth. I taught her how to rub it around all her GUMS. and she was laughing doing it for like thirty mins. She carried that thing everywhere I would let her. Then I thought that's probably not the best thing for her to carry around with her... EASY TO LOSE. One of the kids already took off with the case that it goes in. not a big surprise..... It looked like something the kids would like to play with.

Today me and johnny took her to Walgreen's to fill one of Johnny's prescriptions. AS we walked around the store and waited we went to the Halloween isle to look at costumes.. Johnny tried a few scary looking ones on. Lexie was looking at him like she was scared to death- We let her play with the long mustache on one of them - She backed away- Then, Johnny tried the scariest one on and she jumped backwards and cried.. It was so funny.
I was trying to get her to be ok with Halloween. Now, It kinda looks like she might be scared of it- I hope not. I wonder where kids get there fear from. Since shes been little there hasn't been any reason for her to be scared of masks.. I guess they just look scary. I hope she doesn't feel that way about the Easter Bunny... Atleast his eyes don't pop out of his head. HAHA.

loves to kiss

The other day she was playing with a puppy and I told her to kiss the puppy- She kept going MMMM...WA... AND KISSES THE PUPPY EXCITEDLY. she loved it- Now anytime I tell her to kiss something She doesn't hesitate and kisses it 300 times. Well, Maybe that's a Lil bit of an exaggeration.
It's so funny - when I tell her to give her mommy or daddy kisses She will go MMMM until she gets to my lips and open her mouth.. SHES HILARIOUS.

This morning I got up when she cried to feed her (usually her only bottle of the day.) After she napped a few hours later- We got up and played with her toys in her room for a little while Until her pawpaw (Johnny's dad) came over to help Johnny fix our door. I think she enjoyed his company. And sometimes I think she says papa. haha.. Maybe shes talking about him- And.. Maby not. lol.

I figured she was about to get hungry so I got some strawberrys out that I cut up in halves a couple days ago- GOOD THINK I DID :) She loved them and ate EVERY SINGLE STRAWBERRY--- OK.. she may have let me eat 3.. HAHA. Everytime she would swallow a strawberry she would yell at me until I gave her another - I tried to teach her to say PLEASE and THANK YOU instead of SCREAMING at me to get what she wants-
Sometimes she tries to say thank you- I know what she means- I'm sure nobody else would though. She kinda says TU TU. lol... But I cant get to attempt a PLEASE.
Later, Rylee came over to play- They had a fun play date (as usual) I was trying to put them in her room to play together- They didn't seem to like that idea too much- Johnny's fathers paint brushes seemed a lot funner for them to play with. I think we need some kind of gate that I can put up to keep her in her room - ?? Amber said rylee wouldn't go for that. I wonder if Lexie would- Shes a little bit younger-- a little bit more adaptable...

LEXIE LOVES HER BLANKET FROM HER LOLLY AND POPS :)
I went in the room after her nap and she was standing there with the blanket over each shoulder- She was so cute- But of course- By the time that I got the camera and got a decent picture- The blanket had fallen. I still LOVE IT though.

Shes still just 11 months- and Amber tells me to try giving her milk- LEXIE loves to steel RYLEES sippy-cup with SOY MILK in it. It tastes a Lil sweet - so I've heard.

I have been trying to limit her to one bottle a day. I decided to try giving her some skim milk that amber had- Amber said she would like it- For some reason I said she wouldn't-

She was excited thinking it was apple juice- AND SHE DRANK IT. and HATED IT.. haha.

She kept putting it down- and making a sour face. HAHA. I kept giving it to her during the day while she was thirsty hoping she would like it more. But, - NO LUCK so far -

I will keep trying. :)

She has also been throwing little temper tantrums when shes sleepy. She hates it when she is so into something- and I will grab her and bring her inside and she will flip out CRYING KICKING AND SCEAMING! I usually just put her in her crib with her blanket and shut the light off and the sweet angel sticks her thunb in her mouth and falls right asleep.

I can't believe her birthday is so soon :) I have decided I want to have her party at Chester frost park because I think more ppl will come. maybe?

I don't know. But a cook out sounds great to me. and a pinata party for the older kids. and LEXIE can play in the park for awhile. open presents- and call it a party :) I have no idea who will come .. Most ppl are flaky- We will see.

STANDING BY HERSELF... A LONG TIME.

Today I went to my great dads house. (he just told me to add an adjective before DAD)
Right when we walked in I put her down- standing......... and she stood for 30 seconds BY HERSELF. She knew she was standing by herself. and she was standing there with a BIG smile on her face- Too bad I couldn't get it on camera- I never have my camera when I actually need it. She was so proud of herself- before falling down. ha.
My dad was VERY excited that he got to see her (pretty much for the first time)
She wont do it again- I'm not sure what put her in the mood to show off for me. I am just hoping that she wants to show off for her daddy when she gets home. HA.
Right now she is spending some time with Jennifer- and hopefully Summer will wake up soon and get to play with her before we leave here.
Earlier we were in the living room watching her play with a talking book. and the book said HAPPY. and she said happy. WE ALL HEARD HER. she tries to play us like she cant talk.. ha.
BUT she is smarter then she chooses to let me believe. I think she likes being my BIG baby.

Lexie is now walking all around the house in her push walker. She also feels more and more comfortable holding on to my hand with one of her hands and getting to where she wants to go.
I met my friend heather at our apt office because she was there to fill out an application. So, I brought Lexie over there to play with him for a lil while.. HES 6 MONTHS OLD and BIGGER AND LONGER THEN LEXIE.. i couldn't believe it. haha. any chunkiness that she used to have - she doesn't have any more. When they were leaving I told Lexie to say Bye Bye yo Caleb- and she waved at him.. and smiled ") I didn't know that she knew how to do that.. sometimes she does it- But she actually knows what it means. So. it kind of surprised me.
I'm going to take her to get her 11 month pics today. I hope that she does better then last month. I made it for a later time- so hopefully shes not sleepy.
i STILL have NO ideas for her birthday.. anyone have any???????

almost walking

Lexie is now 11 months. I cant believe in less then a month will be her birthday and i still have NO IDEAS on what to do for it.. I need to make some invitations. I just cant decide what to do.. I was thinking of doing one with my friends baby is 2 days younger then Lexie.. But I haven't talked t o her in awhile... HMM i think i need to get on the ball :)

So, Lexie will be walking in NO TIME. She now will stand by herself.. She used to be too scared to try. Also. she walks all around the house with the walker. When i hold her hands and walk her around the house. She basically can do it herself.. she just doesn't think that she can do it without something to hold on to. So, we will see how long it takes her to start walking I am excited. - also dreading it.. haha.

I bought a new couch. and i really don't want it getting sticky and germy.. hmm. so.. i will have to stick to her using her high chair to eat EVERY TIME.. no More drink spilling..

10 mnths and growing

well- i havent updated lately- Because i tried a cpl days ago and for sum reason it was telling me that this website was no longer a website.. very strange.

Back to lexie. I went to get her ten mnth pics recently. I wld say besides when she was a newborn and wldnt her open her eyes for me for the camera- this was the hardest that she had ever been. I Ijust happened to schedule an apt for a day that she was CRANKY the entire day- so all she wld do was cry.. THe pics werent good at all. I got some very cute CRYING pics though. .haha.

She now says UH OH. i taught her when u drop sumthing on accident- u say UH OH! so .. she now says it all the time.. very much over uses the word- But she deffinately knows what it means. we were sitting together on the couch- and she kept dropping her bottle off the couch and saying UH OH and laughing. It was so cute :) shes growwing up so fast..

I still try to get her to walk on her own more- she still wont do it.. shes back to thinking that she cant walk unless she holds BOTH my hands...

So, I started working a cpl days ago. I missed her so much. and she was only away for twelve hrs..and i gotta go bak in the mrning and be away from her again :( I couldnt imagine being a full time Mom all the time. and Not Being my daughters primary person that she goes to ;)
I have been working on her room a lot lately- It is looking GREAT! Forr some reason.. the only person that doesnt seem to notice- is the one thats room it is ... haaha.. I am going crazzy with it though - I have fell in love with stuff for her room on ebay-

She has butterflies all over her room now- Now all i am waiting for is the letters that go on her wall. I am so excited.. its going to look so great when im done with it. Im thhinking that I really hope to one day soon have a bigger room for her- Its running out of room for everything that I want to do to it.

So, today lexie crawled all the way our steps outside- before i got up there. and she was knocking on Dales door for like 10 seconds :) haha.. Good thing the neighbor was obviously sleeping and didnt come to the door :)
