september 20th!

Lexie was acting so much bigger!

one day before she was finally FIVE MONTHS!

We were sitting there playing together. and she starts mimicking what i did! It was soo exciting!

First she was throwing her hand at me MULTIPLE TIMES over and over and over again. Like, she was playing high five.... And then i was blowing out with my mouth.. making noises. so she did it too !So, we just did that for like thirty min like it was a game! it was sooo cute! shes getting to the "FUN stage" now.
She just sits there and laughs about all day. Shes so entertained at the littlest stuff. Shes been so happy lately..
I DON'T WANT HER TO START TEETHING SOON :(

Yesterday was my cousins Christina's birthday so we went to Shane's rib shack..
She sat very well in a high chair.. and at the end of the meal me and johnny decided to giver her a lil piece of cake and ice cream. I didn't get a great picture of it. But it was fun.. She liked it... not as much as she likes those watery Popsicles though ...

The other day Lexie had a rash underneath her neck. She never puts her head up, so I never realized she had a rash from when the milk comes out of the bottle. It smelled a little Bit. I gave her a bath. and now i will def have to be a lil more careful about when stuff falls underneath her chub roll! hahah. i felt so bad for her..

Yesterday... I'm not sure what was wrong with her... but no matter what i did... she would not go to sleep. she screamed and screamed fighting her sleep for about a hr and a half.. so.. I put her in the bath to calm her down. and she finally smiled at me twice in the bath tub. I tried to keep her in there as long as possible so that she would forget about her problem.. and I got her out. put sleep better lotion on her.Dressed her. and she remembered to start crying again all of a sudden. so, i rocked her to sleep for about five min. and she woke up about twenty min later and finally decided she would sleep in her crib. She slept for like 6 hrs after that! she sure is sleeping a lot lately! I check on her at least 3 times during her naps. I'm sure that's a lil overboard.. haha.

She when she woke up she felt a lil bit warm. I took her temperature. and It was 100 degrees! so, i called her new dr.. that she hasn't seen yet. and they said since she hasnt seen her that she cant go there on the weekends or something? i don't know i didn't really understand. But, they said that they would tell somebody who i could see to give me a call back. And they never called. Luckily it just got better on its own! I took her temperature a little later and it was back to normal.

Today she went to the movies for the first time! I thought that she would do pretty good. But, She started screaming right when i sat down.. I fed her.. and the bottle was gone. so johnny went down to get her formula out of the car. And by the time he got back with it she didn't even want it anymore. She never realizes shes full til after she over eats.. haha.

Then her uncle josh held her and she finally fell asleep!

next time, i think i will ask someone if they would like to baby sit ! I'm sure it would make MOVIES a lot easier :)

air plane!

FINALLY FOUR MNTHS OLD!

feb 29th- lexie went on her first airplane ride to las vegas! She was very good! it was pretty hard to get her to fall asleep though. Because her favorite place to sleep is in her crib.. But, once she finally did. She pretty much slept the entire time. We got their. and went to several places out to eat, and casinos. and we went downtown and she got to watch the tv on the top of the cieling (hard to explain unless u have been there) It was fun!

Lexie gets BIGGER AND BIGGER EACH AND EVERY DAY! its so crazy.. I cant leave her on any couches anymore because she likes to do front flips off of it. so i have to be extra careful of where and what i put her on.. She cried for her first time in vegas because her nona was holding her. and she saw me. and she wanted me to hold her.. That has never happened before then. It was a good feeling. But, also I dnt want her to be one of those bbies that are so needy and i cant leave her with anyone because she feels lke she needs me.
She still sleeps a lot. But, Im pretty sure thats not going to last very long :(

In the morning time she lays in her crib making noises- but when she sees me she starts screaming because it reminds her that shes hungry!

SQUASH ")

well. i was talking with Jennifer a cpl days ago. and she was telling me how Lexie will stay full a lot longer and i will not have to breast feed so much if i started giving her Cereal. and baby food. She showed me her old baby book. and she started eating cereal at one month. So it made me feel a lot better about giving it to her early. Because Jennifer turned out just fine :)
So I went to wal-mart that night. Because they have 75% off ornaments for my tree next yr for Christmas. and while i was there I grabbed a box of baby cereal. and one of each kind of baby food.
The next day at work, Me and Lexie's aunt Sydney fed her. We mixed her squash baby food with cereal. and Lexie LOVED It.. at first she wasn't quite understand what to do with it once it got in her mouth. and she did make some crazy little faces. But she loved it.
We recorded a video of her :) I dont know if i can post videos on here? if anyone knows how. Let me know :)

i feel like shes getting so big and growing up so fast. Today her aunt bridget saw her and she said that shes getting a lot bigger. Because she hasn't seen her in about a week.
She is getting big.. Her three month clothes dont quite fit her yet tho. But she is wearing them :)

We have been working a lil bit more and more on tummy time. But she doesn't really like it. She loves attention. and anytime that shes on her belly she cant see whats going on around her. So she usually cries. Sometimes i can get her in a good mood though. And she basically juss tries to flip over to her back. shes done it once.. but never again..
and the first time she rolled over. I may have helped her a lil too much. So it might not count :)

THREE MONTHS

-") LEXIE IS THREE MONTHS ")-

She turned THREE MONTHS the 21st! I actually worked that day. And my dad, Sydney, Jennifer, and ofcourse me.. Sang Happy birthday to Lexie.. My dad started and everyone just kinda followed :) she didn't really understand what was going on I wouldn't say though. haha..

well. She is standing very well now when she holds onto my hands. She loves to stand up and sit up. as long as she sees and knows whats going on she is VERY HAPPY. She cant balance at all.. But her leg muscle's seem to be pretty strong.

Today I took my first shower with her. I usually just give her a bath. But today I was in the shower. My mom was out there watching Lexie. And she came in and told me Lexie pooped so she smells a little bit. so i just took her in the shower with me. She liked it.. and I thought when i got her out of the shower.. she would cry.. because she usually does. but this time she didnt?

I do think that she enjoys being in the bath tub better. Because she smiles real Big. and kicks around..
But shes just extremely mad when i take her out of the shower. :(

Well, its getting late. I really need to go to sleep. Because if i don't...
I'm going to get NO sleep when Lexie wakes up in the morning.

TOMORROW IS CHRISTMAS EVE!

Well today we went to visit josh, my brother in the hospital. Josh held her a lil bit. and she started to get just a lil bit fussy. so i laid her down in her stroller hoping maybe she would fall asleep. I put the passifier in her mouth and she was suckin on it hard. and she accidently spit it out. and replaced it with her thumb. Sucked her thumb for forever. and finally fell asleep :)... with her thumb in her mouth. This is the first time that she has ever sucked her thumb. I was so excited. Shes laughing more then ever. She loves to be tickled on her back. and she loves to be talked to. Still wakin me up every morning around 8 bc she wants her diaper changed. Just some attention. So she knows that shes loved : ) bUt she usually lets me go back to sleep. Which is always good. : )

my new beginning

well i haven't done this in a really long time. i used to have one of these on greatestjournal and i forgot my log in name. and password. and lost all my blogs.. so.. i have to start over..

well my life's changed a lot in the past year.. I was reading other ppls blogs on their pregnancy. and it was so interesting. So, I'm very disappointed that i didn't start this a lot sooner :'(

My daughter Lexie is now two months old. She will be 3 months the 21st. She is the greatest thing that ever happened to me. I never realized how exciting raising a child is. But, I also never realized how much work it would be either.

Its so crazy how much she has already grown. And how much she still has to grow. I look at kids that are like ten years old. And its hard imagining what things are going to be like in ten years. She is going to be so much different. And, as a parent I will be going threw so many different experiences in life. Its so fun, and exciting. But, also very hard work. But, it makes me realize not to want her to grow up to fast because she will never be this little ever again.

She has already grown so much. She is already almost double her weight as she was when she was born. She is looking around and sitting up, and holding her head up so well now.
She smiles, laughs, wants to play, tries to talk.
I love every moment of it.

In a way I never want her to grow up. I will miss this size and age SO much.

Well, Lexie is sleeping right now. I like to get her to sleep at ten. So, she knows what time her bed time is. and she gets tired during that time. Its my only time that i really get to myself. is when she goes to sleep. Her last Dr visit they told me that she should be able to sleep threw the night already. Which was TOTALLY shocking to me. I had no idea that. this early she could do that. So. every time that she cries in the middle of the night instead of feeding her I have just been sticking the passie in her mouth. she still wakes up like once for the passie. But im assuming that she'll start getting used to this pretty soon :) and i can get some sleep at night.

The only thing bad about putting her to sleep at ten is she only can sleep eight hrs without being fed. and being that I stay up after she goes to sleep. She wakes up at about 8 o'clock to eat. And talk. She does anything she can do to get me outa the bed and play with her. She is definitely a morning baby. every morning she wakes up and just wants to be played with and held. Its hard. But I also love it.

But, never get any sleep. But, I cant say I wasn't warned. I'm pretty sure everyone knows before having a baby that you lose TONS of sleep from them. Ha :)
