FINALLY 8 MONTHS

FINALLY 8 months!
She is talking more then ever. She loves to just play happily and hear all the different sounds she can make with her mouth.. She loves to say BLA BLA BLA BLA BLA, MA MA MA MA MA, BA BA BA BA, YA YA YA, But.... still no DADADDADAD. Johnnys a lil bit jealous. So, we have been working with it.
Yesterday we went to a birthday party. Lexie loved the cookie cake, and the ice cream.
Shes just like her MOMMY :)
She always tries to grab stuff and pull up. She loves when anybody will help her stand up and help her get to her destination by walking.
Also, I have always thought that shes not ticklish. But, I was definitely mistaken.... TODAY I tried to tickle her feet and she laughed SO HARD!
MoMMy and daddy started working at a painting job... So I don't get as much time as I would like with Lexie. I miss her while shes gone.. its like a different lifestyle. Its funny.. I felt free when i went to work and didn't have her.. haha. I miss her greatly.
I couldn't ever ask for anything or anyone to come along in my life that makes me happier then she does. :P

ALMOST 8 MONTHS !

She is getting bigger and bigger EVERY DAY!

Yesterday was Rylee's Birthday party and we were practicing more and more with holding her hands and walking around the house. She does it VERY GOOD the past 2 days. And she gets so excited when she stands up on her own. I stood her up and let go of her hands and she stood on her own for at least 3 seconds.. and then fell down. I am practicing it with her more and more.. so we will see what happens! I'm so exited.. shes getting so BIG!

Today I cleaned up her room and reorganized it... Including lowering the bed... so that she cant stand up and fall out.. She was holding onto the top f the bed and would stand up and BUST OUT LAUGHING.. she loved it! It was the cutest thing ever.

FINALLY 7 MONTHS

Well, I haven't wrote in awhile. I guess because i see her everyday I don't feel like shes really doing anything new.. But I'm sure to other people if they see her.. They would notice how much shes grown and all the stuff that she does now..

She is rolling all around! she does more tummy time.. But she would always rather be sitting or standing. Usually when I'm trying to sit her down she straightens her legs so its hard for me to sit her down. Shes adorable ! I have been trying to practice steps with her. But she doesn't grasp the concept yet. I put her in her walker and she can only walk backwards. Maybe she just needs to fall a couple times to grasp the idea that she needs to step. and get balance on one leg. I try not to always be right beside her and help her do every LITTLE thing... Because I feel like maybe that's why she HATES Tummy time. Because when she would cry I would just turn her over.. I guess a little crying never hurt anyone though.

We went to the beach this month AND SHE LOVED IT! we tried to walk in the sand. So she could feel the beach waves on her feet. I sat her in the sand.. and all she wanted to do was EAT IT.. Idk why she thinks sand tastes good!

She has been around other babies a lot too this month. I am trying to raise her to share. And so far shes done pretty goood :) But sometimes when she wants something she WANTS IT NOW. But usually it only takes her a couple seconds to realize that crying isn't getting her anywhere so she gets over it.

She loves to EAT! she loves ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING THAT I GIVE TO HER. Besides.. juice.. She doesn't seem to care for it that much. She would rather just have a bottle. Maybe I dilute it too much? idk.

She still wont go to the crawling position. The closest that she gets to it is when i sit her down she will put her hands down and attempt to crawl.. But, she doesn't get anywhere with her feet being under her.

She laughs more and more everyday. and doesn't sleep NEARLY as often as she used to. Shes pretty much awake all day long. She takes a couple short naps.. But when its bedtime at night time SHES SO HAPPY TO GO TO SLEEP and she will SLEEP FOR HOURS :)

Shes wonderful :) I'm usually up by 8 anyways. and she gets up after me. usually.

wheres mommys brain at?

Well when Lexie turned 6 months old. She was sick throwing up. We took her to the Dr and they told us to give her pedialyte. And she threw up longer then usual. But, after about two wks.. shes Back to smiling all the time and playing! She does tummy time for longer periods of time but still would prefer sitting up anyday :) She still doesnt like her passie.. Its grreeat bc everytime i go out.. i dont have to think about her passie. But when i put her to sleep. its a lil harder.. BC i cant juss stick her passie in her mouth and expect her to be ok. Sometimes she goes straight to sleep. But sometimes she cries herself to sleep. She will fall asleep on me now a lot though. If were out and about and I can just rock her to sleep. WHICH MAKES THINGS WAAAY EASIER.
She holds her bottle very well. Sometimes, she would rather act like a baby and have somebody hold it though.
A couple days ago we took Lexie Easter Egg hunting. It was right before her nap time though. So, she wasnt very happy the entire time. She just wanted to go to bed. She lasted til the end though. But then when all the kids played together she fell asleep. But we got some pictures.

Me and Johnny took her to see the easter bunny today. :)' She loved him. HUGE SMILES :) I get her all dressed in her easter clothes. and sit her on his lap, pull my camera out, and it wont turn on because i forgot my battery in its charger at home plugged into the wall! HaHaHa. Yeah? where's mommys brain at?

regular oatmeal?

So, the other day Johny went to the hospital because his blood sugar was over 800. I wanted to stay the night there at the hospital with him. So i asked Jennifer if she would baby sit. and ofcourse, shes ALWAYS happy to baby sit her :)

She said that she was an angel :) I love to hear that. So, She also told me that she told my dad to watch her for a couple minutes and she told him to make her a bottle and put some oatmeal in with it. So, when she comes back she looks at the bottle and theirs a bunch of stuff at the bottom of the bottle. She asked him about it. And he put REGULAR PEOPLE oatmeal in her bottle! hahahahhaahahahaaha. Hes funny :)

So, anyways. Lexie is now laughing hysterically :)

The other day in the hospital room. We had some bonding time. She wouldn't stop laughing! shes finally ticklish. I think? I kept tickling her arm pits. and She loved it. She loves to be talked to. She loves when i hold her. She also loves when i roll her around across the room. She still wont do it herself though. I have been trying to do it. hoping that it would give her some motivation to do it herself! Shes sleeping now though, So I cant try tummy time again. I really think she will just skip the rolling over and crawling and just start walking? Just because she hates it so much! She still doesn't attempt to roll over. She just fusses til I pick her up.
I have now started giving her graduate bite puffs. I have to break them in half and give them to her. Or she has a little trouble! she likes them though. I like the regular ones better though. Less mess.

She also has began to play with other babies. and Ryan. The other day She was passing the graduate bites from Ryan to her.. to Ryan to her. And Rylee was playing with her with the keys. shed grab them and give them back. Shes pretty good with sharing..... SO FAR...

Well, shes almost six months old ! I cant wait to go to her Dr appointment the 20th! and find out how much she weighs.

Lexies FINALLY starting to sit up :)

she started doing it good about three days ago :) She sits up for a long time.. but starts to arch her back when getting tired.

She still wont roll over though because she still HATES being on her belly.

The other day she fell asleep on my leg though :) very adorable. she never does that.

I took her to the Dr the other day. and they weighed and measured her and they said that shes only on the 7th percentile!!! i don't think that i believe that though... So I decided I'm not writing it in her baby book until i go again. when shes six months..

september 20th!

Lexie was acting so much bigger!

one day before she was finally FIVE MONTHS!

We were sitting there playing together. and she starts mimicking what i did! It was soo exciting!

First she was throwing her hand at me MULTIPLE TIMES over and over and over again. Like, she was playing high five.... And then i was blowing out with my mouth.. making noises. so she did it too !So, we just did that for like thirty min like it was a game! it was sooo cute! shes getting to the "FUN stage" now.
She just sits there and laughs about all day. Shes so entertained at the littlest stuff. Shes been so happy lately..
I DON'T WANT HER TO START TEETHING SOON :(

Yesterday was my cousins Christina's birthday so we went to Shane's rib shack..
She sat very well in a high chair.. and at the end of the meal me and johnny decided to giver her a lil piece of cake and ice cream. I didn't get a great picture of it. But it was fun.. She liked it... not as much as she likes those watery Popsicles though ...
